Since we were out of town with family on Thanksgiving Day, we invited some friends from China and South Korea -- students who attent ESU -- to join us on Saturday for a traditional American Thanksgiving meal of turkey and all the trimmings. It was fun sharing with them and hearing about some of their traditions associated with holidays at home with their families. We ate lots and then had fun decorating our Christmas tree and playing some ping-pong. We're thankful for these and other students who enrich our lives here in Emporia!
