I saw the first sign of my surprise lilies starting to push up through the cold dirt. It's good to see they're trying to make their way into the coming Springtime. I bought some seed potatoes, corn seed, and spinach seed at Bluestem on Saturday, so I'm getting ready for things to come. Of course, it'll be quite some time before those corn seeds can go in the ground, but it's just a little over two weeks until we'll have a chance to put the potatoes in on St. Patrick's Day. And I saw a very large flock of Canadian geese V-ing their way north! Yippee for Spring!

I saw some geese overhead the other day, too! Nothing green here, yet, though. Not even the weeds have started growing! That's all right, though, because I'll have less yard work to do for awhile!
So you are going to have a field of potatoes and a field of corn and a field of spinach. That's going to bring out the farmer girl in youand we hope it all does good along with the aches and pains and tired body you might have.
We had about an inch of rain a week ago which came very nice and gentle and then a couple of days of high wind. We were sure glad the rain wasn't snow for that wind. Enjoyed your shower pictures. We are doing fine. Maybe you need to define fine to mean some aches and pains that is part of our life to enjoy.
Love to all.
